Meet The Team

Dr. Thea Zacharia

Founder and Chiropractor

It didn’t come as a surprise to those around me that I pursued a career as a chiropractor. I always liked science and sports and assumed I would go on to help athletes reach their higher potential. But it wasn’t until I suffered an injury of my own that I understood my true calling…

After straining my hip, I was forced to jump through hoops with my family doctor. Despite the fact he was a sports MD, he seemed to think rest was my best option for recovery. As an athlete, I knew better.

I spent six months in physiotherapy, only for my pain to get worse. I advocated for myself. I did the research to find practitioners who were well-versed in anatomy—people who were willing to look beyond my hip to find the root cause of my pain. Sure enough, after six weeks of chiropractic care and massage therapy, my pain was gone.

My experience in healing, paired with the limitations of today’s healthcare system, continues to inspire me in my mission to provide better care for my patients. I take a functional, evidence-based approach backed by the motto “check above and below.” I look at the body as a whole to help you recover and find strength in all areas, instead of just focusing solely on your pain or injury. And I teach you to advocate for yourself in all areas of your health.

I’m the kind of practitioner who thrives on conversation. It’s where I learn the most important information for your patient chart, like the movements you perform every day, how you pick up your kids and what leg you cross when you’re sitting. But our relationship is only as strong as your willingness to reach for more. Your success lies in the partnership we build between in-clinic therapy and at-home recovery.

If you’re ready to reach your highest potential, book an appointment so we can start collaborating on your care.
